Hi I’m Jack. U.S. Navy veteran, Father, Papa. and married to my beautiful wife 34 years and counting. I have done a lot of different things on my trips around the sun; Aviation electronics technician, truck driver, school bus driver, Sunday school teacher, concrete finisher, home remodeler, and now a Maker. 

I like the term Maker because it encompasses the whole spectrum of what I do, from idea to forging to finishing. With each stage being one of a kind for that individual piece. When you make something in this way it takes on a little bit of your soul, some of your personality. If the blade doesn’t “talk” to me I change it until it does, It has to look right to be right.  There is spirituality to making that actually fills me up and recharges me, It is my Art. The world needs more Art. Be a Maker.

Hi I’m Tony, born and raised in the Midwest and happy to be transplanted to the beautiful West coast. 

My passion and interest in axes have lasted my entire lifetime. Having the ability to hand make my own axes is truly a life dream carried into reality and having the time to work on my life’s dream is an  undeserved blessing.
